NEW JOB ?!?!

Well as some of you may know Brandon currently works at Hill Air Force Base and works for a independent contractor and yearly their contract has to be renewed and if it doesn't they end up out of a job I tell ya what that time of year is so stressful wondering from day to day if he will still have his job. Well in order to have a permanent job you have to become Civil Service and it takes so much work to get that started you have to wait til they post a job externally for a position and you have to have more than just a resume, you have to have your KSA's done if you don't know what those are they are Knowledge, skills and abilities....It's not as easy as it sounds I attempted to write his KSA's and it definitely was more difficult than I thought so we called around to see if anyone will write them for us and there was only 1 person in this town that does so 150 bucks later they were written professionally. It definitely paid off on Christmas Eve he got an email stating he scored a 100 on his application which is as high as you can score so the 150 bucks paid off thank goodness. So in the mean time we are waiting patiently to see if he was actually going to be selected, well his boss told him when he went back to work after Christmas that he was one of the top 3 selected which still means he has a good chance but still there is still 2 other people they are looking at. Well New Years Eve he received another email saying he was offered the job and he had 48 hours to reply that he was either going to accept or deny the offer....So January 20, 2009 he officially becomes civil service and I cannot wait. He will get more paid off and more perks to the position and not to mention more pay as well and now we can actually go visit my family and he will be able to join us!! As as far as this goes I will definitely not be going back to work anytime soon..Thanks Brandon for your hard work you deserve it so much..we love you.
