SO JUST A FEW QUESTIONS FOR EVERYONE I'M DOING SUGGESTIONS AND WOULD LIKE SOME OPINIONS....I'M TRYING TO POTTY TRAIN BRINLEY AND SHE KNOWS WHAT TO DO WHEN TO DO IT BUT TO GET HER TO WEAR PANTIES OR EVEN JUST USE THE TOILET IS NOT HAPPENING..I KNOW EVERYONE SAYS SHE WILL BE READY ON HER OWN BUT SERIOUSLY I'M PAYING 42 BUCKS FOR A CASE OF DIAPERS FOR BOTH MY GIRLS...(NO SANDY I WON'T SWITCH TO CLOTH) SO I NEED SOME SUGGESTIONS JEN I READ YOURS ON YOUR BLOG AND AM ACTUALLY GOING TO TRY IT..
SO ON ANOTHER HAND SHAYLEE JUST STARTED SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT BUT IS NOT YET A PRO AT IT SHE STILL WAKES UP TO LOTS OF THINGS BUT FOR THE MOST PART SHE IS DOING WELL NOW BRINLEY ON THE OTHER HAND KEEPS COMING TO MY ROOM 3 EVEN 4 TIMES A NIGHT. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS HAPPEN? WHAT DO I DO? I HAVE HEARD OF PUTTING A TICKING CLOCK OR LIGHT MUSIC IN THE ROOM HAS ANYONE EVER TRIED DOING THIS?? ONCE AGAIN JUST LOOKING FOR SOME SUGGESTIONS LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK...YOU ALL ARE AWESOME

Definitley try the pootty box! Sounds like she is just like Coleosn was. As for the night waking and coming into your room, I think its jsut something normal- all kids have their phase of it and some worse than others. Maybe try a night light? Perhaps she wakes up and is frightened by the dark so feels the need to wake up mom. Devan did this for a while and finally I just made him go back to sleep on my floor so we could all get some sleep (don't let her in your bed- it makes it worse). Some parents think this is a bad idea but I'd rather be woken once rather than three or four times.
don't buy anymore diapers, then she'll have to wear big girl pants.
Well I would love to give you advice, but my sweet children have never done this, so the first time in my life I am at a loss for words. Just kidding. I would definately try the potty box for sure. And try the music or like Jen said a nite light. They just might be afraid of the dark and quiet when they wake up. Good luck and I still say cloth diapers.

your brother Jeffey was just like Brinley...your dad finally told jeffey if he came into our room he had to sleep on the floor. from that point he became the room floater. he got use to sleeping on the floor remember...
maybe start a rewards jar. each night she makes it through, one point(button or rock)into the jar. so many points. wa-la a PRIZE! no sleepy in bed loose a point. i think she just misses me....good luck. love ya
I'm with sandy. Cloth diapers. If she feels she is wet or poopie she won't want them on, hence, having to go in the toilet and wearing dry underpants.
k i don't have a washer and dryer to wash these cloth diapers so yeah not going to happen have you ever priced them out yeah not going to work let alone trying to find them. if it was just that easy to force panties on her it doesn't work.
I was never really serious about cloth diapers. There's just something not right about them. why go through all that?
